The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (the “USCIS”) recently announced the launch of “I-9 Central,” a new online resource center dedicated to providing assistance in connection with the most accessed form on the USCIS Website.
Form I-9, used for Employee Eligibility Verification, is critically important to employers, and must be completed correctly and in timely fashion in order to avoid labor law violations and enforcement actions.
The new free Website provides employers and employees with simple one-click access to resources, tips and guidance to correctly complete Form I-9 and to better understand the Form I-9 process.
